Update June 3, 2008

 Hello fellow Kin,

The dates for the Ribfest are July 04, 4 pm to 10 pm, July 05, 11 am to 10
pm and July 06, 12 to 6 pm.

Our role at this event is;

1.  To handle the sale of tickets and beer glasses (probably 10 oz).  This
will be done in a separate tent requiring 4 people per shift.  We do not
need Smart Serve for this.

2. To handle the pouring of the beer.  We will need Smart Serve for this. 
There will probably be 12 taps requiring 12 people per shift.

Based on last years sale of beer, the DBIA figures we will make around $8000
for the weekend.  All the set up will be done for us.  We just have to fill
the time slots.  As you can see this event will require many man hours.

Please reply if you will be around that weekend and whether or not you have
your Smart Serve.

For those members who do not have Smart Serve and want to get it, you can
use the following link and obtain the Smart Serve online.  The club will
reimburse you the cost (as discussed with Darrell).

If you have Smart Serve but have lost your card.  You can use the same link
and print off a form to apply for a new card.  Again the club will reimburse
you.

Fellow Kin this new site is a complete departure from our old web page. If you are properly registered each and every member has the opportunity to contribute and communicate with all the members of our club.

This site will continue to evolve over time..actually it will always be evolving as we change our programmes, projects, and messages. Please register look around..edit something..NOT the Hole in One (unless you're Eric)..If you screw it up..We can fix it. Hopefully in the next little while we'll put up a Users manual and give you more insight into the power of a "Content Management" style website..
